Ended 2018 season early to go on maternity leave. In singles, made QF at Dubai, while won doubles title at Madrid (w/Makarova)

Posted second straight Top 20 season in 2017 at No.18, having finished 2016 at No.16; 2017 marked seventh consecutive Top 10 doubles finish (at No.3)

Season highlight was capturing biggest title of career and first at WTA Premier Mandatory level at Indian Wells (d. Kuznetsova in F). Rose to new career-high of No.13 with title (week of March 20, 2017)

At 31, became fourth-oldest player to win the Indian Wells title. In R16, posted best win-by-ranking of career to date with defeat of No.2 Kerber
