Walking on Sunshine: Doubles 'Double' winners in Indian Wells & Miami
The doubles teams and players who have pulled off the Sunshine Double of winning Indian Wells and Miami in the same year.

After beating Betsy Nagelsen and Robin White in Miami, Jana Novotna (pictured) and Helena Sukova became the first pair to complete the Sunshine Double in 1990 - overcoming Gigi Fernández and Martina Navratilova in Indian Wells.

Top seeds Lisa Raymond and Rennae Stubbs cruised to the 2002 Indian Wells title without the loss of a set but had to survive two three-set thrillers to win in Miami.

Raymond became the first player to do the Double on two occasions as she teamed up with Samantha Stosur in 2006 to drop just a single set en route to winning both titles.

In 2007, Raymond and Stosur joined forces to tremendous effect once more as they again did the Double. Cara Black and Liezel Huber were only beaten on a champions tiebreak in the final of Miami.

It would be 2015 before the Double was completed again. Martina Hingis and Sania Mirza did it in unique style as they defeated Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina in both finals.

Unseeded in both events, Elise Mertens and Aryna Sabalenka won both tournaments in 2019, defeating a raft of notable teams, including Barbora Strycova and Katerina Siniakova, to claim both crowns.

But it is not just doubles teams that have won both titles in the same year. In 1997, Natasha Zvereva won in Indian Wells with Lindsay Davenport before triumphing in Florida with Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario.

Her achievement was replicated in 1999 by Martina Hingis, who won Indian Wells with Anna Kournikova before succeeding in Miami with Jana Novotna.
