Congratulations to Switzerland's Conny Perrin in singles. Perrin wowed the fans with her improvisational skills against Liang En-Shuo at the Livesport Prague Open, pulling off a front-side tweener lob to steal a fantastic point in the first round. That's a tremendous effort from the World No.194.
In doubles, the Czech Republic's Marie Bouzkova (with partner Lucie Hradecka) stole the show. En route to their first team title in Prague, Bouzkova showed off her speed and touch to track down a great angled short-angle shot and come up with something special under pressure in the final. Bouzkova and Hradecka went on to defeat Viktoria Kuzmova and Nina Stojanovic 7-6, 6-4 to take the trophy on home soil.
