The rematch of the 2019 BNP Paribas Open final is set as champion Bianca Andreescu and finalist Angelique Kerber will face off in the third round of the Miami Open. Andreescu is on a nine-match winning streak, having avenged her most recent loss with a second-round win over Sofia Kenin on Friday.

Naomi Osaka leads Hsieh Su-wei 2-0 in their head-to-head. Earlier this year, Osaka had to survive a tough three-set battle with the crafty Hsieh en route to her 2019 Australian Open title.

Petra Kvitova and Donna Vekic have split their two previous meetings. Kvitova's win came in Miami in 2014, but Vekic handed Kvitova a loss earlier this year in St. Petersburg to level their rivalry.
