Sir Andy Murray is better known as a singles star - but he's not too shabby in mixed doubles.
He and Laura Robson won silver medals together at the 2012 Olympic Games - and he was drafted in at the last minute in Rio four years later to partner Heather Watson, alongside whom he's played in the Hopman Cup.
So when he wryly observed that he was struggling to find a mixed doubles partner for this year's Wimbledon, it triggered plenty of interest from the stars of the WTA.
Kirsten Flipkens - who partnered him at the same venue in 2006 - was quick out of the blocks.

When Murray revealed that Ashleigh Barty had already turned him down because she didn't want to play in three competitions, two of the Australian's most recent doubles partners - CoCo Vandeweghe and Casey Dellacqua - got in on the action.
I’d come out of retirement for this. Sorry @ashbar96 💁♀️

Barbora Strycova wants to be considered too, writing: "Hey, @andymurray I heard rumors that you got rejected by my fellow players a couple of times when finding a partner for mixed doubles in Wimbledon. I swear I wouldn't do the same mistake like them ;)"
It seems @andy_murray is looking for a mixed doubles partner for @Wimbledon.

Naomi Broady will leave her own brother on the sidelines to partner Sir Andy.
@andy_murray I would totally ditch my own flesh and blood AKA @Liambroady to play with you #SORRYBRO #LOVEYOU 😬

Maria Sharapova outlined her credentials.
I heard @andy_murray was looking for a mixed dubs partner. Thanks @usopen for sending in my resume today 😂 https://t.co/ug6ES2m7X5

And there was one other surprise candidate for the vacancy.
