Simona Halep resumes the No.1 position along with a host of notable changes in this week's WTA World Rankings.

Daria Kasatkina makes it into this week's Top 20, achieving a career-high ranking, following her run to the final at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.

Here are the week's most notable rankings movers:

Daria Kasatkina (+4, No.24 to No.20): The 20-year-old impressed in Dubai, dispatching second seed Garbiñe Muguruza as well as seventh seed Johanna Konta. She eventually finished as runner-up to Elina Svitolina.

Naomi Osaka (+4, No.48 to No.44): Osaka was another victim of Svitolina's run to the title in Dubai, but she beat eighth seed Kristina Mladenovic along the way.

Alison van Uytvanck (+30, No.80 to No.50): The new Budapest champion had to beat second seed Zhang Shuai in the quarterfinal and top seed Dominika Cibulkova in the final - as well as fifth-seeded Mihaela Buzarnescu in the round of 16.

Petra Martic (+4, No.56 to No.51): The Croatian reached the quarterfinal in Budapest, beating Aliaksandra Sasnovich and Antonia Lottner along the way.

Mona Barthel (+8, No.75 to No.66): The German could not get past Cibulkova in the semifinal of the Hungarian Ladies Open, but enjoyed a straightforward win over Ysaline Bonaventure in the quarterfinal and battling victories against Timea Babos and Kateryna Kozlova in the earlier rounds.

Johanna Larsson (+9, No.84 to No.75): The 29-year-old got two straight-sets wins under her belt in Budapest, knocking out Magdalena Frech and seventh seed Aleksandra Krunic.

Jana Cepelova (+15, No.114 to No.99): The Slovakian made it through qualifying in Budapest and then impressed with a straight-sets win over Carina Witthoeft.
