After a quiet period in the tennis fashion world following the Australian Open, the courts in Indian Wells and Miami introduced a plethora of new designs.

Marija Zivlak of Women’s Tennis Blog will show us the best five of the many outfits debuted during the Sunshine Swing.

Caroline Wozniacki looked stunning in the slim-fitted adidas Spring Stella McCartney Dress which is all about color-blocks accented by bold contrast stitching. The dress gives an illusion of an hourglass figure, brining a distinctly feminine vibe to a sporty design.

The top features a built-in bra, half-zip entry at chest, and red breathable laser-cut mesh at back. The skirt also features mesh, a curved panel in the back.

Dressed in color lava glow from head to toe, Victoria Azarenka was shining bright in Indian Wells and Miami. The mom on tour got back to her signature shorts, this time the Nike Spring Ace model, and a simple tank that goes with it, the Nike Spring Dry Slam Tank, a traditional sporty look updated with a soft Dri-Fit jersey.

The Belarusian’s matching high-top shoes featured a touching detail -- the name of her son and a heart next to it.

Complementing the eye-catching outfit was a colorful braided hairstyle.

Serena Williams chose black elegance for her grand return to competition at the BNP Paribas Open. The tennis legend's black sleeveless Nike dress has a familiar half turtleneck, Serena's tried-and-true cut. Armholes, skirt and chest area feature geometrically textured insets, the chest one serving as a mock sharp V-neck. Gold-colored details, such as the Swoosh at the neck, always add glamour to an all-black look.

Venus Williams’ recent EleVen collections embrace halter-necks and this Goddess Apex Tank is a standout piece featuring print shirred waist insets. The tank is paired with the floral Goddess Fly Skirt, an asymmetric wrap design including side pockets and compression short liner with ball pockets.

The EleVen Goddess collection launched in Miami includes a wide range of tops and skirts and during her run to the quarterfinals Williams also showcased this beautiful combination of the multi-tiered Goddess Encase Skirt and the Goddess Vertical Tank, a coral relaxed-fit item standing out with its contrast power mesh inset.

As the company states, the floral pattern and bright colors embody the force and will of an EleVen woman, who possesses a profound strength and will to go beyond and be better than her best.

Monica Puig’s Ellesse dress, unfortunately available only in Japan, successfully mixes vibrant, youthful and vintage feel. The colorful stripes on a blue background give an uplifting effect, while the fact that they are bleached adds a retro touch.

Puig always looks spot-on in Ellesse’s classic racerback silhouettes.
