Among the esteemed guests at Saturday's royal wedding of Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle was a WTA legend.
Serena Williams, a long-time friend of the bride, and her husband Alexis Ohanian were in attendance at St. George's Chapel in Windsor for the big day.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion played coy with her plans to attend the big event in its leadup - up to and including the morning preparations, where she repeatedly referred to "her friend's wedding" on social media.

Serena and her husband were joined in attendance by her agent, Jill Smoller, but they also brought another special guest across the pond.
The couple's eighth-month old daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr., sent the happy couple off to the big event.
Though not in attendance, the big event and ceremony also got several other WTA stars - past and present - buzzing on social media.
