Agnieszka Radwanska announced her retirement from professional tennis on Wednesday.
The 29-year-old former Wimbledon finalist climbed as high as WTA World No.2 during a career that saw her claim 20 WTA titles and win legions of fans all over the globe – including her contemporaries on the Tour.
Indeed, many of her fellow professionals took to social media to pay tribute to what she achieved on court, as well as the impression she left on them away from it.
I wish nothing but the best to one of the nicest people on the tour. Thank you Aga, for being such a great opponent and friend.. it was a pleasure to share the locker room and court with you.
I will always remember our laughs 🤣
