August was packed with plenty of amazing shots from the North American summer season, and we narrowed it down to five of the best.

You rewarded Daria Kasatkina's tweener winner from the Rogers Cup as your WTA Shot of the Month for August.

It didn't take long for the Russian to show off in her first round match against Roberta Vinci in Toronto, playing her hot shot in the second game of the match.

Drawn up to net by a vintage Vinci drop shot, Kasatkina then sprinted back to her backhand side for a lob, which she stroked down the line for a passing shot winner -- drawing applause from both the fans and her Italian foe.
