Former World No.1 Caroline Wozniacki stormed through the field at the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global - and for that reason, you voted her as the WTA's Player of the Month for October.
Wozniacki finished second in the Red Group after dominant wins over Elina Svitolina and Simona Halep in which she dropped a combined four games, and served for the match against Caroline Garcia before the Frenchwoman put together one of the signature comebacks which defined her autumn swing.
Wozniacki then ended Karolina Pliskova's chance to finish the year at the top of the rankings in the semifinals, and defeated Venus Williams to win her first title at the WTA Finals - where she finished runner-up in 2010.
