BEAVERTON, OR, USA - Serena Williams owns 23 Grand Slam titles, 319 weeks at the top, and holds a near-endless list of accolades to her name. But come 2019, the American will have another honor to add - this one being a bit more unique.

Serena’s longtime sponsor Nike announced the names of four new structures in its Beaverton, Oregon campus expansion, and one of them will be named after the former World No.1.

“[Serena’s] record in tennis majors — an unmatched 23 singles titles — solidifies her stature as one of the greatest athletes of all time and one of the most inspiring people in sport,” Nike said in a press release.

Slated for completion in 2019, the Serena Williams Building will be the biggest structure at Nike’s World Headquarters at more than 1 million square feet covering nearly three city blocks.

Before she can see the massive structure come to life, Serena will aim to add another Grand Slam title to her record haul. Returning from maternity leave after the birth of daughter Alexis Olympia, defending champion Serena’s name features on the 2018 Australian Open entry list.
