Keys defeats Gauff in three sets to reach first career Madrid quarterfinal
No.18 seed Madison Keys came from 4-2 down in the third set to upset No.3 seed Coco Gauff in the fourth round of the Mutua Madrid Open, notching her first Top 10 win since the 2023 US Open. Keys has now reached at least the quarterfinals of every WTA 1000 and Grand Slam event except Guadalajara.
